Miami Lacrosse Club Corp is is an offseason program with the mission to grow the game of lacrosse in South Florida, giving a more personalized and organized experience. Coach Cartelle says before every season, "Everything we do in our club is predicated on accountability, attitude, and effort; which translates on and off the field. It is a privilege to play for our club and players will be pushed to get the most out of this experience."

 

The club was founded by Erik Cartelle when players and families in the area were looking for an alternative club. During the heart of the COVID pandemic, Cartelle managed to provide lacrosse to a number players in the area when no one wouldn't and avoided any outbreak of the virus. He felt the need to make sure kids stayed engaged socially and got outside to exercise, and lacrosse was the best tool to achieve that. After all COVID restrictions were lifted, Miami Lacrosse Club exploded into the largest lacrosse club in Miami, with over 200+ players tryout in the Summer of '21 and managed 6 teams. In Fall 2021 and Summer 2022, the program had four teams and over 130+ players tryout, and still did not see a drop off in success.

Miami Lacrosse Club (Miami Lax), the winningest club program in the greater Miami area since 2020, competing at a high level against the top teams in the state. Miami Lax's "Moondogs Elite'' varsity program was rated Florida's second best local program in 2021 by US Club Lacrosse with a 87.89 rating. The program has a record of 41-18 (69.5%) and has 330 goals scored to 199 goals against throughout the years. The program has never gone one season without reaching a championship game at a tournament. This group is represented by 7 of the 12 schools in Miami, and has had over 20 of their players recognized by the Miami Herald's All-Dade Awards in both 2021 and 2022; the most first team team recognitions by any club team.

 

Miami Lax's staff is comprised of individuals with have high levels of experience and have many visiting coaches, who will contribute to your son over 100+ combined years of knowledge. Our staff is comprised of the best coaches in Miami, uniting head coaches and coordinators from the best high school programs in the area. Miami Lax is affiliated with the Florida Crabs giving our players further accessibility to unlimited resources to help propel them to play at the next level.
